In the intermediate program we are taking the skills that your dog
either learned in our puppy program or the Basic Obedience program
and advancing them to a higher level. We also add 2 new commands in

and cannot get off the object until released.(client favorite)
Finish- which is to return to your left leg ( Heel position) from a
come and sit in front position.

The AKC Canine Good Citizen (CGC) is a Nationally
standardized test that is designed and offered by AKC for
purebred and mixed breed dogs to test a dogs real life
obedience skills and manners in public. There has been a
movement around the country trying to make it mandatory for
all apartment buildings, condos etc. That a dog has to have
passed the CGC in order to be able to live in these buildings.
In this program we prep you by putting you and your dog
through the actual exercises that you will see during the
exam. By the end of the 4 weeks you will be more than ready
to take the test.
Prerequisite- Must have gone through our puppy or basic
obedience program.

The main purpose of
receiving a Therapy dog certification is to
be able to provide relief and
companionship to patients that are in
hospitals, nursing homes,and other
institutions. Having a Therapy dog certification gives you the
privilege to enter places dogs would not normally be able to be
in, but your certification is proof that your dog knows how to
behave so they are usually more than welcome in most places.
The Therapy dog test is identical to the Canine Good Citizen
test with the only difference being that it has one more exercise
11 instead of 10 like the CGC has. Otherwise they truly are
completely identical.
In this program we do the same as the CGC program. We prep
you and your dog for the test by duplicating the exercises that
you will be tested on and fixing any possible problems that you
or our dog are having with a certain exercise or exercises.
Prerequisite- Must have gone through our puppy or Basic
Obedience program.
