First let me start by saying,
Thank you
for coming to my dog training web site, as I know that if you are here, you must be a dog lover, own a dog, or are planning to get
a
dog in the near future. I also know that you have many dog training options and dog trainers out there who you could go to for
help in training your
dog, and I appreciate you coming on here and allowing me to explain what makes my dog training  different
from other
dog trainers.

Let me tell you a little bit about me. I was born in New York; Long Island to be exact, and I have lived in Florida for almost 20 years. I
came for college to study Psychology and I fell in love with the weather, and the people. I have been married for 17 years and have
two children (six and nine months) and currently have two
dogs that I adopted from different shelters (Jackie and Penny) days before
they were due to be put to sleep.

I have always loved dogs. I have always loved people. I have especially loved people who love their dogs. I did not become a dog
trainer
; I was born to be a dog trainer. Ever since I was young, while in New York, I would help my friends and family train their
dogs. I read all the books, bought all the videos and studied the best trainers in the business. It was second nature to me, I
continued to help people with their
dogs  and do dog training for years while going to college.

There was nothing I enjoyed more than
dog training and talking to anyone, anywhere about dogs, and dog training. It never
occurred to me that
dog training could be a career until someone who had heard me talk about dogs offered to pay money for
training. Suddenly, I was awed by the fact that I could get paid for something I loved to do and was good at, what do you know!

I  then decided to work for a big , well known
dog training company for a couple of years, and even though I tried to do things their
way, I always ended up getting into trouble with them for thinking
out of the box and using my own dog training techniques (which
always worked
) rather than the same old way they always did things (which were not effective).

I decided to go on my own and
train dogs as I continued to read, research, learn and gather information, methods, techniques and
insight from all the top
dog trainers in the world along with my own natural gift for reading and understanding dog’s language and
dog's
behavior, training dogs  became my passion, and suddenly I was starting to get recognition for something not only that I love
to do but that
 I was born to do.

Before I got the media exposure for dog training, I have been able to train many celebrities and their dogs, local and nationwide,
some who would like to remain anonymous, but who have been a pleasure to work with.

My first
dog training media call was from The Miami Herald and they did a front page article in their Sunday Money section  on me
and protection
dogs, which I was working with at the moment. I then received a call from CBS and they did a segment on the
protection dogs. After this segment aired, people wrote, called and were interested in me and my
dog training insight, so they did a 4
part
dog training series you can see on the VIDEO page of this web site.  Suddenly I got a call from a popular talk show on PBS
“The New Yorkers”
and they did an interview with me about dog training, you can also see on the Video’s Page. I then got
contacted by
FOX for their very popular local program DECO DRIVE so that I could do a segment on dog training with the anchor.
Then
Telemundo called so that I could come on and talk about President Obamah’s dog and give information on the breed along
with
dog training tips. I then got a call from a producer of the Khloe and Kourtney Take Miami show that will be aired on E. so that
I could come on with Khloe Kardashian on the national radio station
Y-100 and do a segment about dog training that aired on the
radio, and will also air on
E in the reality show.  Currently I am a dog training correspondent for the popular British  dog magazine K-
9
. I am also writing a book and I am working on a DVD series.

I feel blessed and lucky to have gotten the opportunity to come on and share my knowledge and love for
dogs and passion for dog
training,
with the viewers. It feels good to be recognized and sought out as the local dog training expert to go to.
Still, though, my passion is
dogs and anything that gives me the opportunity to help people with their dogs, is something I love to do.
No matter how much media, or national exposure I have been lucky enough to get, my favorite thing is still to sit down
face to face
with a
dog owner and listen to their issues, give them insight on their dog, and help them solve a dog training or dog behavior
issue they felt hopeless about. I still thrive on the look of happiness and relief on the owner’s face as I give them a rundown of what is
really going on with their
dog and how we, together, will fix it. That's what it is all about!

I don’t just have one
dog training technique, so explaining my dog training philosophy is very difficult. I use whatever will work for
the owner and for the
dog I’m training at the moment. I have learned all the techniques and perfected them, as well as come up with
some that are unique and you have never seen, and use them along with
dog psychology and human psychology to help dogs
become balanced and humans gain a better understanding of their
dog.
                                       I have a gift,
which perhaps very few other dog trainers have, and that is that I can walk into a home, meet the owners, meet the dogs and
immediately know what the
dog training problem is and what is causing it. Often I am the 4th or 5th trainer that the client has brought
in to help them and their
dog and oftentimes they are blown away by how quickly I can give an assessment, and start to fix the
problem in
just one class.
I have a gift for dog training. Some people can sing, some people can dance, some are good at math, others are good at drawing, I
am good at dogs!
(But don’t just take my word for it, take a look at my client comment page and dog training videos before you
make a decision)
I hope you give me the opportunity of meeting you
and your
dog
and allow me the chance to share my unique
dog training
gift with you and your family.
