her home from the shelter, I had read all of the books, watched all of the shows,
and felt prepared. Unfortunately, Hopps had other plans. In less than two
weeks of trying to train her, I was at my wit's end. Hopps's behavior was terrible
and I was beginning to fear she could become dangerous to herself and others.
Thankfully, I found Richard and he turned it all around. As soon as he walked

"I have always wanted a Doberman since I was a kid. My parents objected.
“Dobermans are killers”, they told me over and over again.
I remember many, many years later watching the ‘Doberman Gang’ movie.
That did it for me, I had to have a Doberman.
One day I heard about Cesar, the Dog whisperer from Mexico on TV . I was
flabbergasted by all the things I had never done for my dogs, and to the
lack of attention, understanding and care I had showed for them.
In my mind they had always been just that.... Animals....Dogs. That got me going, and

Ivanka to our family. What a difference!
I watched Richard the other day on CBS TV, and I can tell you Cesar better
watch out! ...Mr. Heinz is all action and results !
From day one he has given us a thorough understanding of Ivanka from
“inside out”. I now clearly understand how and what Ivanka is ‘thinking” and how to
best “communicate” with her. Incredible!
Anybody , or almost anybody, can teach a dog to sit and stay, but what
Richard does, is to create a bond between the pet and the owner and the whole
family unlike anything I had ever seen, including Cesar’s Hollywood shows.
We did not know what we were missing until we put Richard together with Ivanka!

"I first discovered Richard Heinz when searching online for a local dog trainer. I
came across a series he had taped for the local news on dog training in December.
I knew after watching that I had to call. I phoned and was able to speak to both he &
his wife Mary about classes for our 8 week old mini goldendoodle. After answering
all of my questions and concerns I felt assured he was the right trainer for our puppy.
This weekend she finished PUPPY 101. The thing we love most is that before
leaving every class he makes sure we know exactly what to do so we can be
consistent with her when we go home. Then, when we arrive the next week, he first
asks us to demonstrate our progress. We are following his instructions and she is
doing fantastic! We are so excited, and she is well on her way to becoming the most
perfect family dog ever! We can't wait to see how much progress she will make&n
bsp;in the next class! Richard is an incredible trainer. The staff are truly lovely
people and we feel like we have known them for years! It was truly a blessing that we
